MARTIAL ARTS DESIGNED FOR AGES 3½–7 BIG ENERGY. BIG PERSONALITIES. BIG POTENTIAL.
Young kids are still learning how to listen, follow directions, control their bodies, and try new things independently. Our Tigers program helps them practice those skills through martial arts, movement, games, and plenty of fun.

MARTIAL ARTS MADE FOR LITTLE ONES
LEARNING TO LISTEN
Following directions isn’t always easy when you’re little. Our classes give kids lots of opportunities to practice listening, responding, and staying engaged.
BUILDING BODY CONTROL
Kicking, jumping, balancing, blocking, and moving help young students develop coordination while learning how to control their growing bodies.
GROWING CONFIDENCE
From answering an instructor to trying something new in front of the class, small successes give kids reasons to feel proud of what they can do.
THEY’RE LITTLE. WE GET IT.
Three-and-a-half-year-olds aren’t supposed to act like eight-year-olds.
They’re learning how to listen, take turns, control their bodies, speak up, handle frustration, follow directions, and participate independently—and all of that takes practice.
That’s why our Tigers classes are designed specifically for young children.
We combine structure with movement, learning with play, and clear expectations with plenty of encouragement so kids can develop important skills without forgetting the most important part:
They’re supposed to have fun.
WATCH THEM GROW, ONE CLASS AT A TIME.
At this age, progress can show up in some pretty small ways.
Standing in their spot without wandering away. Raising their hand instead of shouting out. Remembering which foot goes in front. Introducing themselves with a strong voice. Trying again after something doesn’t work the first time.
Those little victories add up.
Through martial arts, Tigers work on listening, coordination, confidence, self-control, respect, and independence while learning exciting martial arts skills and working toward their next belt.
And every time they realize, “I can do this,” we’re building something they can carry with them outside of class too.
LEARNING TO LISTEN & FOLLOW DIRECTIONS
Listening is a skill—and like any other skill, kids get better with practice.
Tigers learn to watch their instructor, respond when spoken to, follow simple directions, and stay engaged for increasingly longer periods of time.
We keep classes moving so young students have plenty to do while gradually building the focus they’ll need in school, sports, and everyday life.
COORDINATION & BODY CONTROL
Young kids are still figuring out what their bodies can do.
Martial arts gives them a fun way to practice balance, coordination, strength, agility, and control through kicks, blocks, stances, drills, and games.
They don’t need to be athletic or coordinated before they start.
That’s what we’re here to help them develop.
CONFIDENCE & INDEPENDENCE
For some Tigers, walking onto the floor without Mom or Dad is a big accomplishment.
Then comes answering an instructor. Performing in front of classmates. Learning a new skill. Breaking a board. Earning a stripe. Eventually earning a new belt.
We create opportunities for children to do things for themselves—with instructors nearby to encourage them when they need it.
Little by little, “I can’t” starts turning into “Let me try.”
LEARNING HOW TO HANDLE BIG FEELINGS
Being frustrated is part of being little.
Something doesn’t work. Someone else gets a turn first. They don’t win the game. A skill is harder than they expected.
We don’t expect young children to handle every disappointment perfectly.
We give them opportunities to practice.
Martial arts teaches Tigers to reset, listen, try again, and discover that a difficult moment doesn’t have to be the end of the activity.
That’s resilience at a kid-sized level.

FAQS
That’s completely normal, especially at this age. Some Tigers run onto the floor on day one, while others need a little more time to warm up.
Our instructors are used to working with young children and won’t expect every child to participate the same way right away. We’ll encourage them, help them feel comfortable, and gradually build their independence as they get to know the class.
For some kids, simply walking onto the floor without a parent is their first big win.
They don’t need to arrive with great focus—that’s one of the skills we’re helping them develop.
Tigers classes are designed to keep young children moving and engaged while teaching them how to listen, follow directions, wait their turn, and refocus when their attention wanders.
We expect young kids to be young kids. Our job is to give all that energy somewhere productive to go.
Perfect. Many of our Tigers are experiencing their first structured activity when they join us.
No martial arts experience is expected, and your child doesn’t need to already be coordinated, confident, or great at following directions.
We meet them where they are and build from there.
No. Learning martial arts also means learning control.
Tigers practice listening to instructors, working safely with classmates, controlling their techniques, showing respect, and understanding when martial arts skills should—and shouldn’t—be used.
We want students to become more capable and more responsible as they grow.
Safety is a priority in every class. Tigers learn skills progressively with instruction and activities designed for their age and experience level.
Our instructors teach students how to control their bodies, work appropriately with partners, and follow safety rules as they develop their martial arts skills.
And no—we aren’t putting a brand-new 4-year-old into a fight on their first day. 😆
If your child is at least 3½ years old and potty trained, the best way to find out is simply to let them try.
They don’t need to be able to sit perfectly still, know their left from their right, tie their own belt, or confidently walk into a room full of new people.
Those are exactly the kinds of skills that develop with time.
Some children are ready to jump in immediately. Others need a little patience and encouragement.
We’re comfortable with both.
The only thing we need to see: can they listen to basic instructors to stay safe in a group setting!
LITTLE SKILLS THAT BECOME BIG ONES
Kids practice listening when others are speaking, following directions, and responding with focus and respect.
Tigers learn that reaching a goal takes practice, effort, and sometimes trying something more than once.
Not everything works the first time. We help kids learn to handle frustration, reset, and give it another try.
Kicking, blocking, balancing, and moving help kids build strength, coordination, and better control of their bodies.
